Innovation: Techniques and Materials

This is where a company can set itself apart. Skills paired with inferior products or equipment will always yield a subpar result. That’s why we opt to use quite a few tools from Festool, a German manufacturer of professional power tools, like sanding equipment, saws, carpentry tools and vacuums. Beyond using top-of-the-line tools, we also work hard to make sure that our workers are safe while using them. So all sanding equipment is outfitted with HEPA vacuums to contain and manage dust. We’re working with the highest quality tools using safer techniques and we’ve honed our skills over decades. 

It can sound like a minor, petty thing, but something as seemingly trivial as tape is a huge consideration for each and every job. We’re aiming to protect surfaces while painting, but the wrong tape on a poorly painted existing surface will do far more harm than good. Setting expectations upfront and using decades of know-how to access and move forward serves us well and instills confidence in our clients. We’re talking about scientific concepts like adhesion, bonding, surface tension, pH, and more.
