Our History

I’m Sam Manges, owner and head paint mixer here at The Colorado Painting Company. After spending five years as a partner in a successful painting business, I decided to branch out on my own. I wanted to build something that fully reflected my vision—especially when it came to quality, training, and customer experience.

From the start, I knew we could raise the bar in this industry. That meant investing in better training, building a more skilled team, and running a business that stays efficient without cutting corners. The goal has always been simple: deliver exceptional work while passing that value directly on to our clients.

At the end of the day, I love what painting can do—it transforms spaces and brings a sense of pride and happiness to the people who live and work in them. That passion shows up in everything we do, and it’s what drives us to keep pushing to be one of the top painting contractors in Colorado.

When we have leftover paint, we work with GreenSheen to recycle it into new, usable products. It’s a simple way to reduce waste and support a great initiative.
